1956 started to study arts with his father. 1973 worked in dehua ceramic factory as a ceramic sculpture designer. 1992 awarded “senior master of arts and craft”. 1993 received “special state allowance”. 2000 selected as “a prominent talent of quanzhou”. 2002 honored as “master of arts and crafts of fujian province”. 2006 awarded “national excellent arts and craft works prize”. In recent years， a dozen of his works have won various prizes at the national and provincial level.
